Hi, I’m Elana Mostert — a lifelong swimmer, former competitive underwater hockey player, and now a passionate chronicler of the sport. After competing in the 2016 Hockey World Championships in Cape Town, I realized how little coverage this incredible sport received outside the pool. That’s when Hockey World was born — a labor of love to preserve the stories, the sweat, and the silence beneath the water that so many of us live for.
